Step - Activity Plan (individual work between kick-off and onsite week)**\n\n\n:::success\n*Facilitator presents activity plan template and activity instructions at the end of online kick-off meeting.*\n\n:::\n\n* Participants individually search through textbooks for appropriate activity on SSI topic.\n* Participants create activity plan for chosen activity for their concrete class.\n* Participants use the activity plan template.\n\n \\\n\n\n:::tip\n*Facilitator recommends participants to choose familiar activity - already taught in their class.*\n\n:::\n\n\n## **2. Step - UDL adaptation (individual work between kick-off and onsite week)**\n\n\n:::success\n*Facilitator provide links to video(s) on UDL and gives activity instuctions at the end of online kick-off meeting.*\n\n:::\n\n* Participants examine video(s) on UDL.\n* Participants extract three core principles of UDL.\n* Participants identify possible barriers in their activity plan that may hinder their learners' learning.\n* Participants choose one out of three core UDL principles.\n* Participants modify activity (in their activity plan template) according to chosen UDL principle.\n* Participants bring printed version of their activity plan template to onsite week.\n\n \\\n\n\n:::tip\n*Participants can be asked to send electronic version of their activity plan template to facilitator before onsite week.*\n\n:::\n\n\n---\n\n## **3. Step - UDL presentation (during onsite week) - 25 mins**\n\n\n:::success\n*Facilitator presents UDL and its core principles - PPT presentation.*\n\n:::\n\n* Participants individually reflect on information from PPT presentation.\n* Participants revise and adapt their UDL modification based on presented information about UDL.\n* Participants finalise their UDL modification.\n\n \\\n\n\n:::tip\n*!!Optional: add facilitation tips, prompts, or notes about common difficulties and how to support learners.!!*\n\n:::\n\n\n---\n\n## **4. Step - Discussion in groups (during onsite week) - 25 mins**\n\n\n:::success\n*Facilitator initiates the grouping.*\n\n*Facilitator gives discussion instructions.*\n\n*Facilitator initiates group discussions.*\n\n*Facilitator supports participants during their group discussions.*\n\n:::\n\n* Participants form groups of minimum 3, or maximum 5 members - teachers of the same/similiar subjects in a group.\n* Participants present their acitivity and \"final\" UDL modification in their group.\n* Participants formulate suggestions to others' UDL modifications - they give each other constructive feedback.\n* Participants note down useful suggestions to their UDL modification.\n\n\n:::tip\n*Facilitator knows the subjects that are taught in the group of participants.*\n\n*Discussion instructions should be given also in written form - in PPT presentation, on whiteboard/blackboard/flipchart.* \n\n:::\n\n\n---\n\n## **5. Step - Final reflection (during onsite week) - 10 mins**\n\n\n:::success\n*Facilitator invites participants to reflect on UDL principles and modifications in plenary.*\n\n*Facilitator reacts to possible questions in plenary.*\n\n*Facilitator summarises the UDL insights in plenary.*\n\n:::\n\n* Participants (voluntarily) reflect on UDL modifications and ask additional question.\n\n \\\n\n\n:::tip\n*!!Optional: add facilitation tips, prompts, or notes about common difficulties and how to support learners.!!*\n\n:::\n\n\n---\n\n\n# Artefacts\n\n* individual activity plans\n\n\n# Possible Adaptation\n\n* **All steps** can be done **__during the onsite week__**. In this case participants only need to bring some activity on SSI topic with them to onsite week. \n* The video(s) will not be used!\n* Instead of video there will be 3. Step - PPT presentation: \n * \n 1. Step - based on chosen activity on SSI topic participants fill in activity plan template (20 mins, individual work)\n * \n 3. Step - PPT presentation on UDL by facilitator (25 mins - plenary - facilitator centered)\n * \n 2. Step - **without UDL video(s)** - modification of activity according to UDL principle (10 mins, individual work)\n * \n 4. Step - discussion and feedback in groups (25 mins - group work)\n * \n 5.
